My favourite teacher, Abraham-Hicks, has been sharing a way to practice the Art of Allowing which involves simply focusing your attention on something very general until any negative momentum (emotions) slow down.
The other day, after listening to hours of Abe on YouTube, I was inspired to make a picture for my bedroom wall of symbols that are neutral for me (they hold no negative emotional charge or stories), that will assist me in this process.
The symbols I easily focus on and love looking at are:
Rainbows
Ladybirds
Butterflies
Stars
Hearts
Vortex-y type spirals
Sparkles
And lotus flowers
All of which I find pleasing to my eyes, and easily generate a general feeling that they mean nothing in my life other than beauty, life and something to focus on.
I am ready to follow my dreams, and step into the discomfort of doing whatever it takes to feel good. I say it like that, because my mind is still quite attached to suffering and worrying (I will stop affirming those!). After over 30 years of worrying and fear I found it somewhat of a challenge to think thoughts that feel better, especially once I allowed my "monkey mind" to run away with itself. But it is getting easier, and my mind it less monkey-esque and more gentle and at ease each day.
Abraham teaches me that the only way to truly live the life of my dreams is by "laying new pipes" of positive thoughts, along which I send neutral or general thoughts about things I find easy to love, such as rainbows and butterflies, until I feel at a vibrational place where I can focus on the things I find more challenging at the moment without "wobbling" too much.
Using an image, one I've created myself is going to be an effective tool to facilitate this process and assimilate this new way of focusing my mind. There is a lot of power in creating images ourselves, as opposed to using ones created by others.
My art is far from being perfect or amazing, but it holds the right vibration for me, and I will include exactly what I want to see in exactly the way I want to see it.
That's the definition of deliberate manifestation.
Here's a pic of a little bit more progress I made on the creation today.
There's no rush.
It will be completed at the right time.
I shall enjoy the process of the image unfolding as I am inspired to work on it.
Namaste
